We are looking to appoint a Science Technician within our Science Department, providing support mainly within Junior Science and Biology, as part of a professional team.  The Science Technician's principle responsibility is to support learning by providing technical assistance to aid the teachers’ work in the classroom. The successful candidate will need to have a strong interest in science, high standards and a methodical and very organised approach to their work.  The post holder will be required to Co-ordinate the use and maintenance of practical resources and facilities and to provide assistance and advice in the practical needs of the science curriculum.

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
