The Diocese of Canterbury Academy Trust (Aquila) is an established and highly successful Multi-Academy Trust currently consisting of eleven primary schools across central and east Kent. We offer a support to all our staff, having invested in an appraisal system based on coaching. Whether you are looking to start or continue your teaching career within our collaborative network of teachers, we can offer development and training opportunities. NQTs have additional training and networking opportunities.

Are you an experienced teacher looking for more responsibility or greater professional development? Aquila can offer experienced teachers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities with rapid career progression in our successful and growing Trust.

Supported by a network of teachers, the Trusts collaborative model of working allows teachers access to resources, experience and opportunities that are just not available to those working in standalone schools.

Main scale teachers in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

Are you ready to make a positive difference in children’s learning?

Can you effectively develop children’s phonic skills?

Do you have a good knowledge of the KS1 or KS2 curriculum and age related expectations?

Our ideal candidates will have a passion for providing rich and exciting learning opportunities both in the classroom and outside, making learning irresistible.

We are seeking lively inspiring teachers to join our team. In our smaller schools this will involve teaching a mixed age class of brilliant children.  Posts would suit an applicant who is seeking either a full-time or a part-time post.

We are looking for teachers with energy, and a positive attitude who are keen to take on new challenges and initiatives. Our schools are continually committed to raising attainment and focussed to provide our children with every opportunity to develop their potential and our schools offer many extra-curricular activities to enhance the classroom teaching.

As a Trust, we invest in the professional development of our team and personalise what we offer according to level of experience and career aspirations.

We are able to offer permanent and temporary posts, including one post, which is initially temporary from 16 April until July, but this will be reviewed.
