An outstanding graduate, with great vision and energy, is required for September 2018 to lead the Chemistry Department and to teach the subject throughout the school. The position would suit an existing Head of Department or an ambitious and highly successful teacher looking for a leadership role.

Tonbridge is a high achieving selective secondary school, with a strong boarding culture. A significant number of boys will choose to study chemistry and related subjects at university each year.  The Science Department is currently housed in a very well equipped temporary facility and will move to the state-of-the-art science Centre at the beginning of 2019.

As well as a highly competitive salary the school will offer suitable accommodation to the successful candidate, if they do not already live in the vicinity of the school.

A willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular and pastoral life of the school will be expected.

Further details and an application form can be found on the School's website www.tonbridge-school.co.uk/contact-us/employment-opportunities
