Headcorn Primary School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Premises Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will be someone who takes pride in their work, uses their own initiative and is willing to be a team player.

You should be a highly organised, professional, flexible and reliable person who is committed to ensuring our learning environment is safe, attractive and nurturing. You will need to be a positive role model for pupils and staff, demonstrate basic plumbing, painting and carpentry skills in addition to standard caretaking duties, have some Health and Safety knowledge and be able to manage visiting contractors.

The initial position will be 30 hours per week, 5 days per week, for 43 weeks of the year plus paid holiday. There will be potential for the role to become full time as the school continues to expand.

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, Health Checks, and appropriate references.

Start date 1st April 2018. However earlier start date desirable to allow for handover.

A visit to look round the school with a member of the senior management is highly recommended prior to application.

Our school is set in the growing village of Headcorn and has completed its transition into a two-form entry primary school.
