St George’s Church of England Foundation School is a mixed All-Through School located in Broadstairs within the District of Thanet.

The post of Catering Technician has become available at the Secondary site. This role will include tasks such as preparing food, serving, clearing tables and washing up.

The hours of work are 10 am until 1pm Monday – Friday and the successful candidate could, at times, be expected to work after school for special events.

A uniform in line with KCC guidance will be provided.

Previous work in a school kitchen is not essential but will be advantageous and you should also have a food hygiene certificate, however, training could be provided if required.

The successful candidate will be hard working, friendly, have good food hygiene standards and be prepared to be an integral part of the Catering Team.
