Dulwich Prep Cranbrook is an independent day and flexible boarding school for girls and boys aged 3-13 years, nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside approximately an hour out of London.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Part-time Spanish & French Teacher (Upper School)

Upper School is a vibrant and compassionate community where children are encouraged and supported to be the very best they can be.

The Upper School curriculum builds on the firm foundations laid in Little Stream and broadly follows the National Curriculum. Every lesson is taught by subject specialists, whose passion and mastery of their subject inspires our children to challenge themselves and push their learning boundaries.  We prepare every child for entry into their school of choice either through Common Entrance or tests set by their future schools. We have an excellent record of helping our children achieve places at grammar schools, and our children achieve an outstanding number of scholarships to independent senior schools.

We are seeking to appoint a PGCE qualified teacher from January for the Spring and Summer Term 2018 to teach 13 periods of Spanish and French each week over 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). You will demonstrate high-quality language teaching skills and expertise in creating a positive, encouraging and stimulating learning environment reflecting a strong commitment to the personal and professional growth of the children.

Our School is currently split in to 3 areas; Nash House (Nursery and Reception), Little Stream (Years 1 – 4) and Upper School (Years 5 – 8). From September 2023 Upper School will expand to incorporate year 9, year 10 in 2024 and year 10 in 2025 when our year 10 students will take their GCSEs.
