Astor College requires enthusiastic candidates with Mathematics and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent (qualification certificates will need to be shown at interview).  Applicants should be confident in their ability to work with targeted individuals and small groups to provide intervention in Literacy and Numeracy.  Ofsted 2015 said "Students have a very impressive range of opportunities to develop their cultural awareness and social skills and confidence."

The current minimum wage rate for an apprentice is £3.50 per hour. Working time will be 30 hours per week term time plus development days.
