Learning Support Assistant

One Year Fixed Term Contract

27.5 hours per week, Term time only

Salary pro rata to £9576 - £10766

 

Are you an enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is passionate about helping all children to achieve their potential?

 

We are looking for someone with a thorough knowledge of maths mastery, the Primary and EYFS curriculums and expectations, along with a good understanding of child development.

 

The successful candidate will work with classroom teachers supporting students aged 5-11 years in lessons. You will be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise according to the needs of the children.

 

An NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or 2 GCSEs (A-C) passes (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required for this post.

You will also be required to cover for lunch duties each day as a Lunchtime Supervisor (5 hours per week, paid under a separate contract)
