Information about the school

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.

We aim to provide the pupils in our care with learning, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Pupil and staff well-being is an ever-present priority for us. All children are given the support and care that they need to be successful, and all staff are encouraged to develop their roles through professional development opportunities.

All that we do is underpinned by our Downsview Values of Respect, Integrity, Kindness, Inclusivity, Aspiration and Resilience. These values equip our pupils with the skills, knowledge and mindset needed to be successful in an ever-changing world.

We are an outward looking school that seeks to have a positive impact on our local community through building positive relationships with parents, carers and the local community. We aspire to support all members of the school community in order to create a positive environment in which our pupils can flourish.
