Horizon Primary Academy is a one form entry school, serving the local community in Swanley.

Based on the edge of London and Kent it is easy to access.

We are looking for the right person to join our team, whether an NQT or someone wanting more senior responsibilities, starting in September 2017.

We have an exceptionally strong and dedicated team of staff, who are extremely supportive of each other and are making a real difference to the life chances of the young people they teach.

We are at present rated OFSTED good in all areas, under the new framework and are well on our way in our journey to become outstanding, having received results in the top 5% of schools nationally in 2016.

We strive to give our young people a rich, creative and varied curriculum.

We are proud to be one of a few schools nationally, to offer scouting on our curriculum. We believe strongly in teaching our young people character traits and skills such as resilience, teamwork, communication skills and interests to compliment this.

Behaviour is good and consistantly managed.

Our children are a pleasure to work with, keen to learn and well-motivated.

We have gone from 120 to 200 pupils in the last three years and are heavily oversubscribed for YR.

Horizon is part of the Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) and training and career opportunities exist within the Trust for people at all stages of their career.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
