Advert

Are you looking for a school with great children who love learning and where teaching is a pleasure?  We are a small school with fabulous children. The teachers, teaching assistants and office staff  here are supportive and work closely together. Would you like to join our team?

We would like an inspirational and motivational KS1 teacher to join our mixed Year 1/ 2 class. The children are enthusiastic to learn, polite, kind and engaging. Sometimes they are a bit noisy.

This vacancy is to cover a maternity leave; however there is a strong possibility it could lead to a permanent position. Additionally, the position could start immediately, or at the start of the new academic year.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to giving our children a varied and exciting education where progress is key and achievement is celebrated. Our classrooms are a good size; we are well resourced; and the outside space is well equipped to continue learning and play. We offer Forest School to each year group.

This is a temporary post for up to a year in the first instance. NQTs as well as experienced teachers are warmly welcomed to apply. We will happily consider full or part time candidates as we want the right candidate for our small people. Please, give us a call on 01580 852250 and come and have a look for yourself.

For those of you who are put off by a rural village school in the middle of nowhere, we are 25 minutes from Ashford and Tunbridge Wells, 20 minutes from Maidstone and 15 minutes from Tenterden. The drive is scenic and the views spectacular.
