Wilmington Grammar School for Boys 

Due to school expansion and promotion of current post holders we are seeking new science teachers.  TLR’s and R and R allowances of £1,200 may be available for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong department for September 2017. We seek to appoint an outstanding, Science Classroom Practitioner with specialisms in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.  This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person to develop their career in a dynamic, supportive, well equipped and academic environment with considerate students and very supportive parents. 

Applicants are invited from inspirational teachers who can demonstrate the ability to:

• Support the Head of Department in enabling students to achieve the highest possible standards
• Work collaboratively within a team of staff
• Inspire students who love the subject through outstanding teaching
• Develop innovation in teaching and learning

The opportunity for a TLR and Recruitment and Retention for the leadership of specialist area duties will include: 

• Lead the development and delivery of the curriculum, developing schemes of work and resources
• Lead and manage assessments in specialist area as directed by the Head of Department 

Applicants who can teach these subjects at A-Level would also be desirable.
