Teaching Assistant(s) required for a range of one-to-one support roles.

Do you have energy and enthusiasm? Are you able to support learning in the classroom?

We have vacancies at Downsview Primary School and require individuals to offer one-to-one support for pupils with Additional Educational Needs. Contracts will be on a temporary basis as they are linked to specific funding for pupils with SEN.

We need individuals with confidence, experience and a sense of humour – Downsview is proud of its team ethos where staff work together for the benefit of the children.

The roles are to support pupils with Education Health Care Plans and / or in receipt of ‘High Needs Funding’ to enable them to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning. Prior experience of working with pupils with SEN is desirable, however, other strengths will be considered.

We are seeking to appoint for the following roles:

·         2 x Part time positions (17.5 hours per week across 5 mornings) to commence as soon as possible

·         Full time position (27.5 hours per week) to commence from September 2017

If you are reliable, hard-working and can show initiative please get in touch.

Visits are warmly welcomed - come and see us in action! For further information, please contact Mrs Julie Paice (SENCO) via the school office on 01322 662594 or via email at senco@downsview-primary.kent.sch.uk

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
