OUR SCHOOL Barton Court Grammar School is a state, selective, co-educational school rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted. Barton Court is the lead school of the Multi-Academy Trust (BCAT). The School has a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited ‘Thinking School’.

THE POST Governors wish to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor for an immediate start to support the learning process within the School by supervising classes when teachers are absent and supervising the homework club every day after school. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated and be able to work under pressure. Experience of working with young people is essential. A sound knowledge of ICT is required along with good organisational and administrative skills and the willingness to work as part of a team. This post is ideal for a person seeking a career as a teacher in the future. 

This is a term time only post, plus one Staff Development Day. Hours of work will be 8.00 am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am-4.15pm Friday (includes a 20 min unpaid coffee break and 40 min unpaid lunch break)
