We are looking for an excellent teacher to cover a maternity post from September 2017. If you are an NQT or an experienced teacher come and join our friendly, dynamic team at Mundella. The post would ideally suit a EYFS or KS1 teacher.

Our children are vibrant and deserve the very best. Therefore, we are looking for a teacher who is dedicated and passionate about making a difference to the children they teach. We offer a happy team where our children come first. You would have the support of middle and senior leaders focused on school improvement. 

We will pay the right person a salary that reflects the standard we are looking for, as well as matching the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

We invest in the development of our staff in order to work towards excellence in the classroom or future leadership. We work closely with our 'Hub' to develop the quality of teaching & learning across our schools in Shepway. Regular moderations and opportunities for CPD are incorporated into our development programmes.

We have a professional culture of safeguarding our children and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, online check and references will be sought to advise our recruitment process.

Mundella Primary School is a forward thinking and child centered school situated in East Folkestone. The school is comprised of 7 classes and caters for up to 210 children in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2.

The school has a happy and friendly atmosphere, with a very dedicated staff who are ambitious for all their pupils and the community they serve.
