We have a talented and creative group of teachers and teaching assistants who plan a curriculum that engages our pupils’ curiosity and enthusiasm for finding out new facts or deepening their understanding. Our teachers and teaching assistants also provide a wide range of both lunchtime and after school clubs to develop pupils’ social skills, interests and talents too.
Our Core Values that underpin everything that we do at North Borough Junior School, these are: Respect, Courage, Responsibility, Compassion and Wisdom. We expect every child to be kind, safe, responsible and for them to believe in themselves and celebrate difference and individuality wherever possible. We believe that pupils flourish with responsibility and praise. We have school prefects who act as excellent role models for our pupils and pupils have the opportunity to share their achievements during our weekly House Assembly.
We want to work closely with all parents and encourage them to volunteer, take part in organised activities and attend any open days and curriculum meetings.
