Year Group Leader – MPS + TLR of £4,455

 

Shears Green Junior School is looking to appoint an excellent teacher who is looking to develop their leadership and management skills and become part of a dedicated team. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a KS2 class but will receive additional management release time in order to fulfil the role effectively.

As a Year Group Leader you will be:

  • A committed classroom practitioner with a proven track record of outstanding/good teaching and who will be able to inspire and lead other staff.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum requirements.
  • Can confidently use data and assessment materials to improve student outcomes and to effectively raise standards and improve pupil achievement.
  • An excellent communicator at all levels who can develop the potential of all young people and staff within the school
  • To be able to confidently coach and mentor staff within school
  • Take responsibility for 4 classes in your year group
