The school is seeking a teaching assistant. 

The role can involve working in either Key Stage 1 or 2.

We need:

  • An individual who has the ability to enthuse and motivate children
  • A commitment to the highest standards of learning
  • Relevant and recent experience of working in a school
  • An ability to communicate, work as part of a successful team, take on board advice ,use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • An individual who is organised, efficient and flexible in their approach
  • English, maths and science (at least to Grade C GCSE/ O' level)and a willingness to further develop and widen your own skills 
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT  
  • Current knowledge of SEND is desirable

The position is for 25 hours per week for 38 weeks.

8:45 start and 3:15 finish 

Two 15 minutes breaks and an hour for lunch.

St Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary School is a one form entry school set in the heart of the Georgian town of Ramsgate, Kent, just a short walk from the beaches overlooking the English Channel.
