Executive Support Officer 

Brook Learning Trust are looking for a confident, pro-active and reliable Executive Support Officer (ESO) to provide a high standard executive support function to the CEO and Brook Learning Trust executive team.

The post holder will work with centralised Trust departments and principals of the member academies, ensuring exceptional communication with the CEO's office, and with internal and external stakeholders.  The ESO will manage and provide logistical support for Trust projects, and will be responsible for the BLT website and social media functions.

The role is full-time, with occasional evening meetings, and is based at The High Weald Academy, Cranbrook, however the role will require you to travel to other schools within the Brook Learning Trust, as well as external organisations, and therefore you will need your own transportation.

The Person

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will have relevant experience as commensurate with this role. They will have experience of providing PA services for executive staff, and will be able to evidence research and project work, report writing, diary management and other associated activities.

The ESO will be efficient, resilient and adaptable, with a high level of IT literacy, and the ability to analyse and interpret information from a variety of sources.  They will have the ability to work independently whilst operating within a thorough understanding of the CEO's role and priorities.

The post holder will have a creative, problem solving mind-set and will actively support new initiatives with a positive attitude to change. The ability to manage relationships with senior and junior staff is essential and the post holder will have outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills.

Experience of Social Media strategies and of Education are desirable.  As is a knowledge of HR processes.
