We believe in a culture of partnering for performance and work closely with other TKAT academies and Thanet schools.

Over time, leaders have worked to create an ethos of success and promise. Ofsted (January 2016).

We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work alongside our teaching staff, giving support to the children in our care and, on occasion, taking whole class responsibility when needed.

The successful candidate will :

- have high expectations
- be committed to providing a welcoming stimulating learning experience for all the children at our school
- be creative, imaginative and innovative
- resourceful, purposeful, resilient and well organised
- have effective behaviour management strategies
- have an understanding of assessment

- be at least NVQ level 3 qualified

- have at least a C pass in GCSE English and Maths

In the first instance, this will be a temporary position until the end of this academic year. However, this could become a more permanent position over time.

Previous experience supporting children in Primary School would be preferred but this may suit a Graduate looking for a pathway into teaching.

If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you to arrange a look around our school.
