St.Mildred’s Primary Infant School is seeking to appoint a temporary sports related teaching assistant for a one year fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have appropriate sport and physical education experience and will be flexible, adaptable and hardworking. They will be able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the passion to make a difference to the lives of the children at our school. Previous experience in this role is desirable but not essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully worked with children in a sports capacity and can show their commitment to supporting children to learn. The post will be for 15 hours per week, term time only. An application form must be submitted; we cannot accept CVs as the only form of application to this post.

St Mildred's Primary Infant School is a Co-operative Foundation Primary School which believes strongly in the Co-operative ethos. As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with Bromstone Primary School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge and Parkside Primary Schools. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, Bromstone and Parkside Schools.

St Mildred's has a well developed creative curriculum, which provides our children with exciting opportunities for learning, both in the classroom and in the wider environment. We place high value on the Arts and outdoor learning; we have established a Forest School in our grounds. Our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and very committed to providing the best education we can for our pupils
