The Minster Magic team are seeking to recruit a good to outstanding teacher for both our KS2, Y4 and Y5 team in the first instance.

Although the Y5 post is, in the first instance, a maternity cover, it is anticipated that for the right person we will be in a position to offer a permanent contract, given our impending expansion. The Y4 position is a full time permanent position.

We are looking for a teacher who loves teaching, children and who aims high in all endeavors, going the extra mile for every child.

We can offer a lively, happy vibrant school community, a highly effective staff team with high quality CPD, coaching and mentoring.

We are very proud of our school and it's journey to date and would welcome visits from all prospective candidates.

We can offer an immediate start  or an Easter start and this role would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher.

 

Information about the school

Minster-in-Sheppey Primary School is a two/three form entry primary school. We are a heavily over subscribed school with lovely children and a talented teaching team. CPD is given a high priority at Minster. Our last full Ofsted, March 2022, graded us as good overall. Our team is enthusiastic,united and dynamic! We are on a journey to achieve recognition as an outstanding school. We are a very busy, happy school with; children who are well behaved, highly motivated and fully involved in the life of the school, teachers and support staff who are highly skilled, caring and passionate about our community. On 01.11.16 we converted to academy status with another good local school, Halfway Houses Primary school. Together we formed The Island Learning Trust. Since then we have welcomed Sunny Bank Primary School into The Trust. We are situated on an imposing site with super views of the Isle of Sheppey. Visits are strongly encouraged.
