Maternity Cover

The governors, staff and pupils of Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to cover the maternity of our existing Deputy. We are looking for an inspirational classroom practitioner with a commitment towards collaborative leadership; a passion for developing outstanding teaching and learning and the knowledge and ambition to ensure that attainment and achievement are maximised. The candidate will have understanding of data (SIMS) and assessment and be prepared to work in collaboration with the school in order to move the school from Requires Improvement to good and beyond. In return we can offer you the chance to work within a motivated team to develop your skills as a leader. We will also provide dedicated leadership time and commitment to your Continued Professional Development. 

We are looking for: • An excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning with high expectations and a commitment to improvement • A skilled leader and manager with experience of more than one Key Stage • A leader with a clear vision of educational excellence and the knowledge of how to achieve this. • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to identify and lead whole school change in a positive and inspirational way • A resilient and innovative leader

Holy Trinity is a diverse and welcoming community. It is a vibrant and purposeful primary school with over 400 pupils. The school is a caring, Christian school at the heart of a thriving community, and lies on the outskirts of Dartford. The school embraces all of the National Curriculum and enjoys the support of Cornerstone Curriculum. The school supports and allows staff to plan exciting real life learning for the children both on and off site. There are fourteen classes with a dedicated team of teaching assistants who provide professional support for the children's learning. The staff team are friendly, supportive and diverse and we enjoy working as a team. The schools last Ofsted inspection was February 2023 where we maintained our Good judgement and at the SIAMS inspection In July 2017 received an outstanding judgement in all areas . Governors and the Leadership Team value the continued professional development of all staff, and are committed to supporting the well-being of the school whole community.
