Required for Term 5 (April) 2016 – a skilled and experienced teaching assistant with a love of learning, to join the dedicated team of staff and our delightful children at Trottiscliffe CE Primary School. You will be working mainly in KS2 to support children with their learning, in class, in small groups and 1:1.

 

This is a part-time post for 17.5 hours per week (5 mornings). Experience of working with children having varied additional needs, and of delivering a range of interventions, is desirable.

 

You must be NVQ Level 2 or 3 trained, or have other relevant qualifications, and be willing to participate in training to maintain professional development. You need to be able to show initiative as well as working well with colleagues, parents and professionals from other agencies e.g. Speech Therapist.

 

 

We are a small school, tucked away in a beautiful village, although accessible by main roads, with a strong Anglican ethos based on key values such as respect and compassion. We have developed an investigative approach to learning , linked to high quality marking and feedback, which creates learning resilience in our children.

 

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
