Do you have experience of or a passion to teach in an EYFS setting? Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to develop pupils to have a thirst for knowledge and the skills required for life? Are you committed to improving the education for the next generation and want to have the freedom to pioneer new ideas and methodologies? Would you like to join a team of caring professionals in a school bursting with opportunities?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, read on …

We are currently looking for a teacher to join our team from September 2016, or possibly earlier, to cover a maternity leave in our EYFS setting. We are offering a one year contract to cover this absence with the possibility of a permanent offer dependent on the schools future position.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is:

  • Ambitious.
  • ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ class practitioner.
  • Able to motivate and inspire children of all abilities.
  • Well organised, efficient and who has excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Caring with a good sense of humour.
  • Able to work collaboratively.
  • Willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities and take an active part in the wider life of the school.
  • Experienced in EYFS classrooms and familiar with the curriculum (being trained in some of the principles of ‘Read, Write Inc’ scheme would be beneficial but not crucial).

All of these are desirable so all may apply for this exciting opportunity.

If you are interested in this opportunity then Capel Primary School can offer you:

  • A ‘Good’ setting, that was recently inspected by Ofsted, and is united in a vision to become ‘Outstanding’.
  • Well behaved and motivated children who are willing to learn.
  • Support from a knowledgeable and hardworking staff team and governors, who love education and making a difference.
  • A vibrant school, which values the importance of learning through structured play and the importance of developing independent young learners
  • A well-developed environment, inside and out, for staff to mould into an effective, changing and challenging learning space for children.
  • Ownership of a classroom created by an experienced EYFS leader and trained moderator, who will be able to provide high quality transitional support.
  • Range of opportunities for professional development.
  • Opportunity to become part of a whole school learning journey, with a passionate staff, who are building the provision of the school to achieve a combined vision.

If you are interested then please arrange to visit our school for an informal visit between the 23rd February and 4th March 2016 by telephoning the School
