Maybe you are a passionate early years teacher looking for wider experience to develop your career, or an experienced year 3/4 teacher; we want to hear from you!

This is a unique opportunity for someone who lives and breathes education, understands the importance of excellent classroom behaviour management skills and has the ability to work in a small team. We look for a commitment to our church values and an appetite to be involved in the life of the School.

This opportunity will allow you to make learning stimulating and inspire children to enjoy learning whilst being supported by outstanding colleagues.

We warmly welcome you to come and visit our school and find out what we are all about. Visits can be arranged by contacting the school office.

At Penshurst CE Primary School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Information about the school

We are a small village church school, at the heart of our community, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have 80 pupils taught in four classes: Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.

The school plays a very active role in the local and wider community and provides many opportunities for children to develop their talents and interests, whether this be in the sporting competitions we take part in or in our wide range of extra-curricular clubs.

Our staff team is small, friendly and mutually supportive, which we believe is a real strength of our school. Our Christian values are important to us and are at the heart of all we strive to achieve. We encourage all members of the school community to walk in the shoes of others; - demonstrating our understanding of the needs of others as well as promoting kindness at every opportunity.
