We are looking for a dedicated, flexible, team player to join our amazing Bethersden family!

We have a fantastic inclusion and pastoral team who can support and share a range of experience and good practice.

The role will consist of small group and individual support for key pupils to promote their social, emotional and personal development, with a focus on reinforcing positive behaviour. The successful candidate will provide support for children to overcome a range of barriers to learning.

Due to the nature of the role we are looking for someone who will be able to commit to 30 hours a week on a daily schedule.

Information about the school

We are a small, friendly, village primary school with 120 children taught in 6 classes. Our rural location just off the A28 between Ashford and Tenterden means we serve families from the village and the wider area. We have received a Good grading in our most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2023).

Our large site has extensive grounds, which includes a gardening area and large playing field.

We have a friendly, dedicated staff who work seamlessly together as a team, ensuring our children excel through a focus on quality first teaching and pastoral support.
