Do you love to learn along with the children in your class?

Are you a creative teacher, comfortable with challenging children in their learning?

Does it excite you to aspire to the highest levels of achievement for yourself as well as the children?

Do you want the flexibility of a temporary contract to cover maternity leave?

Then we need you in November 2015, a Year 2 teacher, for a class of 12 children, to join the dedicated and talented team of staff at Trottiscliffe CE Primary School.

You will be a good or outstanding teacher, committed to a collaborative style of learning, and an eager participator on the journey towards overall “outstanding” for the school.

We will give you delightful, well-behaved children in smaller than average classes, fully engaged in their learning, and the support to develop your talents further in subject or phase leadership.

We are a small school, tucked away in a beautiful village, although accessible by main roads, with a strong Anglican ethos based on key values such as respect and compassion. We have developed a challenge approach to learning , linked to high quality marking and feedback, which creates learning resilience in our children.

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.

Trottiscliffe CE Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and so the appointment will be subject to all safeguarding checks and references.

Closing date for applications:   Friday 9th October 9:00 am

Shortlisting:                           Monday 12th October (successful candidates will be phoned initially, with paperwork following by email)

Interviews:                             Friday 16th October (This will include a teaching session and candidates are encouraged to bring along a portfolio of their teaching)
