Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term (1 Year)

Are you passionate about supporting young children in the early stages of their learning journey and helping them achieve the very best start in life? We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at High Halden CEP School.

The Role

  • Class-based Teaching Assistant position (fixed term for one year)
  • Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with one extended day until 5:15pm (day to be agreed)
  • 30-minute lunch break each day, plus an additional 30 minutes allocated to support lunchtime duties
  • Work closely with children in a small class, helping them develop curiosity, independence and a love of learning
  • Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development in a nurturing classroom environment
