We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Group Director of Inclusion to champion a culture where every learner feels valued, supported and empowered to succeed. This is a rare opportunity to lead inclusion across a dynamic college group, driving strategic initiatives that remove barriers, promote equity and ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.
 
As the Group Director of Inclusion you will act as EKC Groups key link with the local authority to ensure the group meets its SEND statutory requirements, and leads on the transition and education strategy for those students particularly with barriers to learning. 
 
Working alongside the Assistant CEO you will work closely to lead on the curriculum strategy and work to establish clear procedures for those with barriers to learning. You will also have line management responsibility for four- eight SEND specialist staff within the group. As this is a group position the base site is flexible demanding on your home location. However, travel to all sites on occasion is necessary for the role.

Salary: £75,274 per annum

Hours per week: 37

About You

As the Group Director of Inclusion you will be an inspiring, strategic and values-driven leader who is passionate about creating inclusive environments where every learner can thrive. To be successful in this role:
 
  • Ensuring inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
  • Have the ability to represent the college effectively with the local authority
  • Excellent change management skills with the ability to influence and lead culture change
  • Impeccable communication, organisation and presentation skills 
  • A minimum of three years working in a learning and support environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with qualified teacher status 
  • Senior experience of dealing with challenging safeguarding issues
