Information about the school

We are a friendly Church of England village primary school set in the beautiful countryside of Ide Hill. We are pleased to offer places to children from Reception to Year 6. We are a caring community. We are very proud of the unique combination of spirit, success and setting that makes Ide Hill CE Primary such a special place to learn, grow and achieve.

Our vision - Do Everything In Love - is both distinctively Christian and distinctively caring. Surrounded by teachers, volunteers and their families, children develop in confidence, resilience and determination. They learn to question, set themselves challenges and see every mistake as an opportunity to learn.

We have strong links to other local schools within our Sevenoaks schools Partnership, including pre-schools and secondary schools. This level of involvement with our neighbouring schools gives our children a strong start in Reception and helps them to move onto a wide variety of secondary schools, including Kent’s leading grammar and independent schools.

We have a history of academic excellence at Ide Hill and have developed our curriculum to reflect the needs of our children. We have celebrated an International Award from the British Council, Gold School Games Award and Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award in recent years.
