● An exciting time to join: We have recently embarked on an ambitious five-year development plan, meaning that this is a superb moment to bring fresh ideas, strategic insight, and creativity to our school’s public-facing brand.
The Role
Marketing
● Strategy & Content: Create and deliver innovative marketing plans, managing brand consistency across social media, print literature, and our website.
● Digital Presence: Drive our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), digital advertising funnels (Google, YouTube, Social Media, and PPC), and improve online user experience.
● Analytics & Performance: Monitor and report regularly to the School Business Manager on digital metrics against marketing KPIs, offering insight and proactive recommendations.
● Creative Execution: Apply your skills in copywriting, press release creation, website management, and basic video content creation.
Event Management
● End-to-End Coordination: Project manage all major SRMS events to a high standard, including Key Stage Welcome Evenings, Open Mornings, Sixth Form Open Evenings, Speech Day, Founder’s Day, and Presentation Evenings.
● Strategic Design: Ensure all events meet budget requirements, achieve audience objectives, and strongly reflect the School's brand values.
● Evaluation & Growth: Build comprehensive timelines, manage internal resources, and conduct post-event data analysis to continuously optimize the experience for parents, pupils, and visitors.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
● Is a superb communicator with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
● Is confident across all fields—whether leading digital advertising campaigns, organizing a photo shoot, or welcoming prospective families at a major event.
● Is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of maintaining a high level of accuracy under tight timelines.
● Embraces Manwood’s values of Responsibility, Respect, Resilience, Compassion, and Creativity… and has a sense of humour.
What We Offer
● The opportunity to shape the digital face and community events of a historic, high-achieving school.
● A collegiate, supportive, and forward-thinking staff body.
● High-quality professional development, training opportunities, and leadership support.
● A stunning, historic working environment that combines beauty, calm, and professional energy.
