KS2 Senior Teaching Assistant

The post is for 30 hours per week (8:30 – 3:30 Monday to Friday) term time only. 

Pay details: KSE £27,852

Pro rata based on working 30 hours per week 38 weeks per year £19,179.42

Pilgrims’ Way Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and caring team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work alongside teachers to plan, deliver and assess learning for individuals, groups and whole classes, while supporting pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has significant experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Can confidently support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
  • Has high expectations for all pupils and believes every child can succeed.
  • Works collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals.
  • Shares our school vision of Belong, Believe, Achieve and promotes our rules of Be Kind, Be Honest, Work Hard
