  • Encouraging positive play, social interaction and good manners
  • Supporting pupils during lunchtime routines
  • Leading or supporting games and activities
  • Following the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety policies

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, approachable and enjoys working with children
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and reliable
  • Full of ideas to make lunchtime fun and engaging
  • A strong team player
  • Willing to undertake training and develop their practice

Previous experience working with children is desirable, but not essential.

Hours and pay:

  • 1.5 hours per day (12:00–1:30pm), term time only
  • 7.5 hours per week
  • Kent Scheme A (£26,168 pro rata)

Safeguarding:

Craylands School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. The successful candidate will:

  • Work in line with statutory guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education, Prevent)
  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in promoting pupils’ best interests
  • Uphold and actively promote a strong safeguarding culture

We warmly encourage visits to the school—please contact the school office to arrange an appointment.
