Information about the school

Roseacre Junior School is a welcoming and inclusive school where children are encouraged to grow academically, socially and emotionally in a caring and supportive environment. We are proud of our strong sense of community, where pupils, staff and families work closely together to ensure every child feels valued and supported.

Our school places children at the heart of everything we do. A key part of our ethos is providing children with enriching experiences beyond the classroom, including a strong focus on school trips, visitors and special events that help bring learning to life and create positive, lasting memories for our pupils.

We aim to inspire a love of learning through a broad, engaging curriculum that helps pupils develop confidence, resilience and curiosity. High expectations are combined with a nurturing environment, so that all children are challenged appropriately and encouraged to achieve their best.

At Roseacre, we value positive relationships and believe that strong partnerships between staff, pupils and parents are key to success. Our classrooms are calm, purposeful spaces where children feel safe to take risks, ask questions and develop independence.

We are committed to professional development and teamwork, and our staff work collaboratively to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning. Roseacre Junior School is a place where staff are supported, listened to and encouraged to develop their skills and expertise.

Above all, Roseacre Junior School is a school where children thrive — academically, socially and emotionally — and where staff are proud to make a difference every day.
