An opportunity has arisen to join our support staff team here at Littlebourne CEP School. The role is part-time, working three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), 19.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be driven to support us in our mission to ensure that every child succeeds, no matter their starting point. Our teaching assistants play a vital role in this.

Working as part of a small school can often be challenging. The needs of our children rest on a small group of adults, therefore it is essential that those who work here are committed to doing all they can to ensure our children thrive. This role will be based predominately in KS2 - however experience of working with the full primary school age-range would be beneficial.

Littlebourne is a small village school situated about 4 miles east of Canterbury. The school is attractively situated in large grounds opposite the village church providing a wealth of opportunities for incorporating the environment into learning, sport and other outdoor activities.

We were judged to be Good by Ofsted in 2019 and were inspected again in October 2024. The school is expecting a further inspection in 2025/26. When inspected by SIAMS (October 2024), we were found to be living up to our Christian ethos, supporting adults and children to flourish.
