Fulston Manor School is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Science Technician to join our Multi Academy Trust and support the delivery of an engaging and successful Science curriculum.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to begin a career in laboratory science or education support. Working alongside an experienced team of Science Technicians, the successful candidate will receive on-the-job training while studying towards a relevant apprenticeship qualification.

The Apprentice Science Technician will assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment and materials for practical science lessons, help maintain a safe and organised laboratory environment, and provide support to teaching staff and students across the Science Department.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in science, is keen to learn new skills, and can demonstrate good organisational and communication abilities. Applicants should have a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics and Science (grade 5 or above). The ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow instructions carefully, and maintain a professional approach at all times is essential.
