Cover Supervisor – Required for September 2026

Salary:  MNS Range 5

We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join our team supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is considering a future career in education.

You will be required to deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage behaviour and maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment. Good communication skills are therefore required. Previous experience of working with children is an advantage. Applicants must have evidence of a high standard of literacy and numeracy (i.e. GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 and above).

Hours are 31.25 per week. 8.15am – 3.15pm Monday to Friday (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break daily) term time only.

Salary:  Currently £25,002.00 - £26,003.00 per annum – full time equivalent. As this position is term time only, the actual salary equates to £18,324.18 - £19,057.82 per annum.  Please note that salary reviews take place each September and as such the salary range quoted above is subject to an increase at that time.
