We are looking for a brilliant Cleaner to join our Premises Team on a part time basis.

The successful candidates will be providing a clean and stimulating learning environment under the line management of the Site Manager. 

Cleaning experience will be advantageous along with an understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to the role. 

The hours for the role are 10 hours per week. You will be required to work from 3:30pm – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is Term Time only, 2 hours per day plus extra hours as required in school holidays for deep cleaning (usually Easter or Summer).

The pay scale is set at KSA (£26,168 for a full-time post) with an actual salary of approximately £6,008 per annum.

A formal interview will take place with a panel comprising the Headteacher and HR Officer to explore the candidate's application and suitability for the post.

Information about the school

Sandwich Junior is a two form entry school. We currently have 224 pupils on roll. We are fortunate to have extensive grounds, which include two large playgrounds, a gardening area, outdoor music equipment, an Orchard and a full size Labyrinth to aid mindfulness and reflection. The school has a strong set of Core Values which underpin everything we do. Our location in the centre of Sandwich, Kent means we serve families from the town and the wider area. We received an Outstanding grading in our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2022).
