We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in Key Stage 2 for 4.5 days per week from September 2026.

 

Salary:            MPS 1-6

Hours:             29.5hrs per week

Contract:         Fixed Term – 1 year initially

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in Key Stage 2 for 4.5 days per week from September 2026.

This role would suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced teacher looking to develop within a nurturing and ambitious school environment. A strength or specialism in mathematics would be an advantage, although this is not essential.

As a small village Church of England school, we are proud of our caring ethos and strong sense of community. Our vision is rooted in Christian values of love, trust and community, and we are looking for someone who will actively support and uphold the Christian ethos of the school.

Wickhambreaux CEP School is a small rural, village school south of Canterbury. We currently have 106 children on roll divided into 5 classes.
