We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Inclusion to join our passionate and experienced leadership team at Warden House Primary School. 

As Assistant Headteacher, you will help to shape the future vision of the school, promote excellence, equality and the highest expectations for our children and staff. You will be a creative thinker, highly organised and above all, passionate about improving the quality of children’s education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: To work with the headteacher and deputy headteacher to develop the highest standards of teaching and learning across the school for all pupils.  Lead the strategic overview of inclusion — including behaviour, the management of teaching assistants, contributing to the school improvement plan as necessary.

Strategic Development of the school-wide inclusion and SEND Policy: Oversee and contribute to the school's inclusive ethos—including the development of our current SEND policy, ensuring its effective implementation and alignment with the school improvement plan.

Operation of SEND Policy: Maintain accurate records, coordinate provision, and collaborate with external agencies to meet pupils' needs effectively.
