Science Technician

An experienced technician, or science graduate, is required to help support the practical needs of the science department. The post calls for a highly organised and adaptable person who can work independently, using their own initiative to set up standard equipment for demonstrations and carry out simple running repairs on small pieces of apparatus, amongst other duties. The postholder will be required to support across all the science areas as required.

First Aid Training would be an advantage

The salary scale for this post is £26,956 pro rata, actual salary £24,206.

37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday 8am-3.30pm Friday. Term time only plus 10 days.
