By delivering the National Curriculum through the lens of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, we aim to foster a love of learning where every individual has a voice, choice and ownership over their learning journey. We champion outside of the box thinking and empower our pupils to take action alongside their learning wherever possible. Our inquiry led approach presents children with problems faced in society (past and present), an understanding of perspective and the opportunity to pursue their passions. We further enhance our curriculum with a co-curricular provision which presents the children with a plethora of enriching avenues in which to deepen their learning.

Our dedicated staff strive to make learning engaging and aim to offer as many ‘real-life’ learning experiences as possible, making education exciting, interesting, and meaningful. We want all pupils to become confident, independent learners with curious minds. Our comprehensive and balanced curriculum is tailored to our pupils. Our Recent OFSTED inspection from 2021 has confirmed that our pupils have an infectious appetite for learning and relish every opportunity to become more knowledgeable. This is because learning is placed firmly at the heart of the school. Expectations of pupils are high. Time is spent ensuring that pupils learn to take responsibility for their learning. This means that they are fully invested in all parts of school life.
