Full time, September start

Pilgrims’ Way Primary School is seeking a passionate and committed EYFS Teacher to join our caring and ambitious school community.

At Pilgrims’ Way, our children are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of our strong ethos and are looking for a teacher who will truly echo and promote our shared values of Belong, Believe, Achieve.

About Us

EYFS is a highly valued and integral part of our school. We understand that strong foundations in the early years shape confident, successful learners for life. Our on-site preschool provides a seamless start to school life and supports continuity, relationships and child development from the very beginning.

Our school is guided by simple but powerful rules that underpin daily life:

  • Be kind
  • Be honest
  • Work hard

We are looking for a teacher who models these values and helps children live them every day.

The Role

We are seeking an EYFS teacher who:

  • Is passionate about early years education and child‑centred learning
  • Understands the importance of securing strong foundations for future success
  • Can create an engaging, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Inspires children to be curious, confident and enthusiastic learners
  • Works effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team

You will play a vital role in helping children develop a love of learning, encouraging them to believe in themselves and supporting them to achieve their very best.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a clear understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience of teaching in EYFS
  • Values play‑based, purposeful learning
  • Builds strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Is reflective, creative and committed to ongoing professional development

We Offer:

  • A warm, welcoming school community where everyone belongs
  • Enthusiastic children who are eager to learn
  • A strong commitment to EYFS and early childhood development
  • Supportive leadership and professional development opportunities

If you are an inspirational EYFS teacher who believes in nurturing confident, happy learners and wants to make a genuine difference at the earliest stage of education, we would love to hear from you.

We are proud to be part of the Veritas Multi Academy Trust, and we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school that strives to support our staff so they can provide the very best for our wonderful pupils.

We warmly welcome visits to the school - it’s the best way to get to know us, see our vibrant learning community in action and meet our dedicated team.

Please contact office@pilgrims-way.kent.sch.uk to arrange a visit.

Applications close at 9:30am on Friday 15th May with interviews on Wednesday 20th May.

If you are ready to help transform lives and be part of a child-centred school, we would love to hear from you.

This appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check and confirmation of qualifications and references.
