Following a review of our People and Culture structure, we are pleased to invite applications for a People and Culture (HR) Manager to join Future Schools Trust.

At Future Schools Trust, our people are at the heart of everything we do. This role offers the opportunity to lead our People and Culture function, ensuring a consistent, high-quality and people-centred approach across the Trust.

This is a broad and impactful role, overseeing the full employee lifecycle. You will lead key areas including safer recruitment, employee relations, attendance and wellbeing, and offboarding. You will also oversee payroll processes, safeguarding compliance (including the Single Central Record), workforce reporting, and the ongoing improvement of people systems and processes.

Working closely with Headteachers and senior leaders, you will provide clear, balanced and practical advice, supporting leaders to manage their teams confidently and consistently.

You will lead safeguarding within People practices, ensuring robust safer recruitment processes and high standards of compliance across all schools.

A key part of the role is leading and developing the People and Culture team, ensuring a high standard of service while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

You will also contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment across the Trust, where colleagues feel valued and able to do their best work.

We are looking for an experienced and credible HR professional who is confident managing a broad generalist remit, including complex employee relations. You will bring a calm, practical approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.

In return, you will be joining a Trust that is deeply committed to its community and driven by a relentless ambition for its young people, alongside a team that values professionalism, collaboration and mutual support.

If you are a people-centred leader who enjoys working collaboratively and making a meaningful difference to the workplace experience, we would be delighted to hear from you.
