St Nicholas' Church of England Primary are looking for an experienced HLTA to provide PPA cover as required. We are looking for someone who is:

  • Committed to our Church school ethos
  • Flexible
  • Hard working
  • Knowledgeable of the National Curriculum
  • Able to cover classes across the school from Early Years to Year 6.

The successful candidate will support the development of excellent teaching and learning in the school through providing short term cover for absent colleagues and working with individuals and small groups to help them make progress. Experience of working with young people and either having, or being willing to work towards, HLTA status or QTS are required for this role.

St Nicholas CEVC Primary school is an expanding one form entry, Church of England school, opening as a through primary in September 2024 we have been growing ever since, and we will be opening our first Year 6 class in September 2026. We are situated in the centre of Strood, and have fantastic links with St Nicholas Church which is used throughout the year for worships and celebrations. At St Nicholas we believe that every child holds the potential to grow, shine and flourish into something great.
