We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Psychology and Criminology to join our thriving Sixth Form. The successful candidate will be a passionate specialist with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role:

The Teacher of Psychology and Criminology will work closely with the Head of Department to deliver engaging A Level lessons and support the continued development of the curriculum.

  • Will teach A Level Psychology within the Sixth Form, fostering critical thinking and independent learning
  • Will contribute to curriculum development and the growth of post-16 provision
  • Ability to teach Sociology would be desirable to support future curriculum flexibility
  • Will use assessment effectively to monitor progress and secure strong student outcomes
  • Will act as a Form Tutor, supporting students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and post-18 pathways including UCAS and careers guidance
  • Will contribute to the wider life of the Sixth Form and uphold the school’s ethos, safeguarding responsibilities, and high expectations for all students

St Gregory’s Catholic School is a Catholic secondary school and part of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership (KCSP). KCSP is a multi-academy trust (MAT) established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent and it currently comprises 28 academies of which 23 are primary schools and five are secondary schools.
