Sheldwich Primary School and Little Hedgehogs Pre-school are seeking to appoint an experienced, organised, and proactive School Business Manager to join our dedicated and supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher and Trustees as a key part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.

We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled individual who can lead on all aspects of financial management and business operations, ensuring strong systems, compliance and value for money.

37 hours per week / 41 weeks per year

Salary: Kent Scheme I

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong financial management expertise and experience
• Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Has experience of line managing staff and leading teams
• Has knowledge of health and safety, HR and compliance responsibilities
• Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Has excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills
• Ideally has experience working within a school or educational setting
• Is committed to maintaining confidentiality, integrity and high professional standards
• Will have a visible presence within our school community
