A New Journey. A New Chance to Change Lives.

We are building a team of passionate, dedicated Teaching Assistants who want to make a real difference to our learners. You’ll be primarily supporting Year 7 and Year 8 learners with a range of complex needs, including Autism, at our newly opened Stoke provision. This is your chance to join the team in a nurturing, inspiring environment.

We’re looking for people who bring energy, compassion and initiative and who believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. Good English and Maths skills are essential.

While your main base will be our Stoke site, you may occasionally support our other Rivermead provisions in Gillingham and Parkwood.

Why Rivermead?

Rivermead is more than a school, it’s a community built on warmth, care and genuine belief in every learner’s potential. We champion personal development for both learners and staff, and our Trust is committed to offering rich opportunities for growth, training and career progression.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • You set high expectations for yourself and others
  • You’re a team player with creativity, drive and positivity
  • You work well with others and take initiative when needed
  • You believe every child can succeed — and you want to help them get there
  • You’re committed to excellent outcomes for learners
  • You’re ambitious about your own professional development
  • You’re innovative and excited to contribute to school improvement

If you’re nodding along, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

  • Ambitious and committed to your own professional development?
  • Innovative and committed to school improvement?

We can offer you…

  • A fun, supportive and friendly team and wonderful positive children.
  • A brand-new provision, part of Rivermead School and the Rivermead Inclusive Trust.
  • A well-resourced school – including the latest technology and teaching materials related to our new curriculum and amazing outdoor learning spaces.
  • Staff who work closely together in year group teams to plan and deliver our exciting, themed curriculum and provide mutual support and challenge.
  • Bespoke training designed to meet the needs of our team from both external and internal trainers – a ‘grow our own’ attitude.
  • A range of opportunities for career development throughout our Multi Academy Trust.
  • A dynamic and supportive Senior Leadership Team
