We are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil with significant learning needs in Lower Key Stage TWo.  You will be required to work closely with class teachers and SEND staff to maximise curriculum access for the pupil by delivering practical, relevant learning experiences, providing emotional and mental health support and supporting the acquisition of basic skills. You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively with adults and children. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is resilient, works well as part of a team and has a good sense of humour. Quite simply, we are looking to employ the staff our pupils deserve.

This is a temporary post, linked to High Needs Funding. This means that the post will be reviewed termly and will end should the pupil transfer to another provision.  Working hours would be 8:30 am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday, including a 15 minute morning break and an hour for lunch, although there could be some flexibility within this for the right candidate.

For further information about the post, or to arrange a visit to our school, please call us on 01732 842008. We look forward to meeting you!
